Ballet Steps 2013

Dear Parents,
Welcome to a fantastic start to another year. 2012 was a very busy year with summer examinations and filming for the Junior Ballet Company as well as other ballet pupils on location in and around Kings Langley. The new grade one, two and three syllabus has been well received by the pupils and they are all now working hard on building strength and technique needed for the standard required. I also commissioned a television advert currently running at The Watford Palace Theatre and had some very impressive new flyers printed to advertise the school. 2013 brings another summer of examinations for the girls in the higher grades. More information and details about examinations and when the pupils are ready will be in an informative section below. I love having new pupils start at the school, whether they be three years or older beginners the enthusiasm and dedication of bother pupil and parents is wonderful as the love of dance and particularly ballet is very important to me. Ballet is an art form and can take many lessons to improve a single step. Grade six pupils can now apply for Royal Academy of Dance membership and when grade six is passed the result can be turned in to UCAS university points e.g. merit = 35 points. I hope that you find this news letter informative and will give you an insight into what the other two hundred plus pupils get up to who also attend the school.
