MEDAL TESTS

Medal tests take place once a year in the summer term either June or July. They usually take place at St. Thomas’ United Reformed Church, Langley Road, Watford, Hertfordshire. They are not compulsory and are offered to all pupils from primary upwards. The pupils perform all the dances that they have been learning in their usual ballet class and perform each dance one at a time on the stage. Primary only perform one dance but from grade one upwards they perform two dances.

SHOWS

Shows are put on every other year or so and worked and performed within a term. There are two shows put on. An afternoon show for the nursery pre primary and primary children 3-6 years of age. There is an evening show for the senior and advanced girls. Usually this will be performed on a Saturday and or Sunday all depending on the venue. There is always an entry and costume hire fee. A professional photographer takes pictures at the dress rehearsal for you to order.
